The Tampa Bay Lightning look as if they’re going with a two-headed attack to start the season.Many media reports believed Ben Bishop won the starting job in Tampa Bay during training camp, but it was Anders Lindback who started the season opener for the Lightning and took the loss against the Boston Bruins, giving up three goals, including a short-hander. Lindback made 22 stops on 25 shots.
Teddy Purcell registered a plus-1 and had five shots on net.
